The immersion marked the beginning of the students' training phase, while also bringing reflections to the classroom on the need to face political challenges with preparation.

For three days, students from different regions and backgrounds came together to delve into debates on key issues for the 2026 elections, such as public safety, voter behavior, political communication, and addressing inequalities.

On Friday, the meeting featured Eduardo Mufarej, founder of RenovaBR, who revisited and presented the new group with content about the organization's origins, differences, and similarities with the current political context. In a conversation moderated by Bel Collor, Head of Institutional and Governmental Relations at FecomercioSP and co-founder of RenovaBR, Mufarej challenged the leaders to think about the type of parliamentarians the country needs – more prepared and connected to the reality of the population, capable of rebuilding bridges in public debate. Following this, Murillo de Aragão, lawyer and political scientist, contributed with analyses of the current scenario.

On Saturday, the focus of the activities turned to public safety, identified as one of the main concerns of the population. The topic was discussed from different perspectives, with the participation of José Vicente Filho, former National Secretary of Public Security, and Nathalie Drumond, from the Sou da Paz Institute.

Understanding the voter was also a central part of the program. Guilherme Russo, Director of Intelligence at Quaest, presented an analysis of data and trends that help students better understand public perceptions and the factors that should influence the 2026 campaigns.

Given so many inputs, it also becomes necessary to understand how to communicate in an environment of constant volatility. To this end, the students immersed themselves in the construction of political narratives alongside Marcello Natale, a specialist in political communication and digital strategy, who led a session on how to explore and transform ideas, values, and proposals into clear, consistent messages capable of engaging with society.

The discussions also touched upon one of the country's greatest challenges: tackling poverty. Laura Muller, an economist and public policy expert at Insper, presented data and models of current policies, inviting participants to reflect on possible paths to promote development with inclusion, while respecting the diverse realities of Brazil.

Another important moment of the meeting was the space dedicated to women in politics. Maya Meneguelli, a specialist in political communication, led the conversation about the challenges of women's participation and the importance of strengthening support networks to increase the presence of women in positions of power.

More than just content, the meeting was also about connection. Through classes, panels, and conversations, a network of leaders was built who share the desire to transform politics from within, with responsibility and purpose.

On the final day, during a visit to the JK Memorial, participants were invited to look at history to reflect on legacy. Following this, Rodrigo Cobra, executive director of RenovaBR, led a class on political positioning, concluding the meeting with a look at the next steps in these students' journey.

Between April 10th and 12th, RenovaBR held the first in-person meeting of the 2026 class of its Leaders Training program in the city where many decisions that shape the present and future of the country take place.
