In commemoration of National Democracy Day, the date marked another edition of the "Day to Renew Brazil"—an initiative by the organization to promote, through its students and alumni, the implementation of actions with social impact.

This year, 104 participants were directly involved in the mobilization — 85 from the 2025 Leaders Training class and 19 from the RenovaBR Alumni network — responsible for developing individual and collective initiatives.

The initiatives addressed themes related to the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), with emphasis on Health and Well-being (25 projects), Quality Education (14), Gender Equality (8), Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure (6), Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions (6) and Reduced Inequalities (7), among others. In total, the actions covered topics related to all 18 axes monitored by the students.

The activities also mobilized 52,959 people throughout Brazil — considering everything from small initiatives with up to 50 participants to large actions that brought together more than 5,000 people. The direct impact was also significant: 2,124,042 people benefited from the projects, highlighting the scale and reach of the effort made by students and alumni.

Among the examples that marked the day, student Bruna Girtotto, from Cassilândia (MS), mobilized 30 volunteers and a thousand participants in an environmental education action, with a collection point for electronic waste, lectures and activities on proper disposal. In Castanhal (PA), student Arthur Rodrigues gathered 180 people in a community effort focused on youth health, offering vaccinations, rapid STD tests and medical consultations.

In São Paulo (SP), Edilaine Santos coordinated a large citizenship drive in the western part of the capital, serving more than 1,300 people with health services, document issuance, and career guidance. In Pernambuco, Alumni Ademar Lins led an initiative dedicated to eye health, providing free consultations and specialized guidance to the local population.

Created between 2019 and 2020, the "Day to Renew Brazil" is part of the RenovaBR training cycle and invites leaders to bring to life projects of public interest capable of generating real impact in the cities where they operate. Since its creation, the mobilization has inspired 1,016 projects in 591 municipalities, reaching more than 4 million people directly and indirectly. In 2025, the initiative received support from the Instituto Transforma Brasil, further strengthening the collaborative network that sustains the project.

More than just a symbolic date, the Day to Renew Brazil reaffirms RenovaBR's commitment to political education connected to reality, valuing public spirit, active listening, and the ability to transform one's surroundings. Each project carried out by the students is a reminder that democracy is strengthened when people unite to build concrete solutions.

National mobilization celebrated Democracy Day with projects that strengthen citizenship, local leadership, and commitment to the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
