The immersion took place between October 17th and 19th and brought together students, specialists and public managers in debates on health, education, public safety and management efficiency.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Last weekend, RenovaBR held its second in-person immersion in Rio de Janeiro, bringing together students, experts, and public administrators in a program focused on dialogue, learning, and the exchange of experiences on key political issues\u2014such as health, education, security, and management efficiency.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This was the second in-person meeting of the school's main training program, Leaders Training 25, aimed at preparing new political leaders. Over three days, participants experienced practical and theoretical training, with panels, lectures, and workshops led by nationally renowned guests.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The opening ceremony took place at Parque do Bondinho, atop Sugarloaf Mountain, and also marked RenovaBR's eight-year anniversary. The school's executive director, Rodrigo Cobra, led the institutional opening, highlighting the impact of the organization's political education and the importance of strengthening leaders prepared for public service.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The students then attended a panel discussion featuring former Supreme Court Justice Nelson Jobim and economist Aod Cunha, moderated by Laura Oller, CEO of V\u00e9lezReyes+. The discussion addressed the role of democratic institutions, the balance of powers, and their impact on public safety, as well as an analysis of fiscal management, efficiency, and budgetary sustainability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Education and public policies in focus<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Education was also highlighted in the program. On Saturday (18), Rio de Janeiro's municipal secretary of Education and RenovaBR leader, Renan Ferreirinha, and Silvia Lima, advocacy manager at the Ayrton Senna Institute, participated in a panel on the role of education as a driver of social transformation and an instrument for reducing inequalities. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ferreirinha highlighted advances in the area and noted that Brazil is a pioneer in ensuring meals in schools, while Silvia emphasized the collaborative regime between states and municipalities, and the potential of partnerships with organizations to strengthen the training of education professionals, especially in smaller municipalities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Later in the morning, students attended a discussion on public-private partnerships and management innovation, led by Paulo Gontijo, a RenovaBR alumni and Director of Institutional Relations at Grupo Iter. Later, early childhood was the topic of a lecture led by Karina Fasson of the Maria Cec\u00edlia Souto Vidigal Foundation, with the participation of Councilwoman Joyce Trindade (RJ), also a RenovaBR leader. The panel discussed public policies focused on child development and the creation of opportunities from the earliest years of life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Electoral strategy and political communication workshops<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the afternoon, participants engaged in practical workshops on electoral strategies and political communication, with activities ranging from campaign planning to digital marketing. The workshops were led by consultant Bia Valle, strategist Abel Luner, political communications specialist Marcello Natale, and consultant William Hertz. To conclude the day, publicist and political strategist Duda Lima shared his experiences in electoral campaigns, presenting best practices and strategies for communicating ideas and strengthening connections with voters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Technical visit and debates on public safety<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

On the final day, the program focused on integrating theory and practice. In the morning, participants took a technical tour of the Super Health Center, accompanied by the technical team from the Rio de Janeiro Municipal Health Department, led by Daniel Soranz. The center is a benchmark for providing public services and integrating public health policies, reinforcing the importance of efficient management and person-centered care.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the opening of the public safety panel, RenovaBR founder Wolff Klabin was present to congratulate the school on its work over the past eight years. Klabin emphasized RenovaBR's importance in developing new political leaders committed to dialogue, transparency, and efficiency in public administration, as well as highlighting the positive impact its alumni have had in various regions of the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The panel concluded with Delegate Raquel Gallinati and Rejane Soldani, legal director of Fenaguardas, moderated by Leandro Piquet, a public security specialist. The discussion prompted reflection on the role of the State in ensuring security and social justice, highlighting possible paths toward more effective and humane public policies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Furthermore, the mayor of Bezerros and RenovaBR Alumni Lucielle Laurentino participated in the closing of the event, with a speech about the importance of training in her political trajectory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
