\u201cI was motivated to enter politics, mainly because I was dissatisfied with the reality of my municipality. So, I decided to prepare myself, I sought to train myself and tried to transform the political reality and the lives of our citizens.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Since the beginning of her journey, Lucyan has focused on management based on proximity to people, listening to demands and seeking solutions that have a real impact.
\u201cOur way of doing politics is by talking to people, bringing the community closer and always seeking to solve the population's problems and, above all, provide quality public services\u201d, he explains.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Alongside Mayor Galego Mota, Lucyan faced significant challenges in her first term, especially taking over management in the midst of the pandemic, which had a profound impact on Dom Pedro, increasing school dropout rates and weakening the public health structure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Despite the difficulties, the administration has achieved important progress. One of the highlights was the delivery of the TEA+ Service Center, an essential service for children and adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder, becoming a regional reference. In addition, a new municipal hospital is nearing completion, bringing great expectations to the population.
\u201cWe recently delivered the TEA+ Care Center to our population, which has become a reference for our region. Dom Pedro is undergoing an evolution. It will soon have a new municipal hospital, and I believe that the future holds many good things for our city.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
With basic services organized and functioning, the second term will focus on expansion and new investments. The administration intends to expand actions in education, culture and sports, ensuring a more structured city with more opportunities for everyone.
\u201cThe first term was a time to get our house in order. There were many things that were not in their proper place, and now, with our house in order and services functioning, we can go further. We need to move forward, invest in sports, culture and, above all, maintain all this investment in education, with school renovations, expansion of services and the delivery of the new municipal hospital.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Lucyan represents a new model of leadership in cities in the interior of Brazil. Without a political legacy and elected by popular trust, he wants his story to inspire more people to enter politics to make a difference.
\u201cThe legacy I want to leave is that a person who was not involved in politics, who does not come from a traditional political family, can indeed contribute to his municipality. How? By being elected by the people and contributing positively with ideas, actions and, above all, with responsibility in the performance of his public function,\u201d he states.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Throughout his political career, Lucyan realized that governing requires preparation and technical knowledge, and that is what led him to RenovaBR. \u201cWith knowledge, it is possible to base decision-making and be more assertive in actions. When you participate in training with technicians, with renowned people, you become more prepared and capable of delivering a quality public service, which is our duty.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Training at RenovaBR brought a new perspective on public management, helping Lucyan to apply best practices in municipal administration, focusing on efficiency and real impact for the population.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
