Municipal Political Management School Course in partnership with Fipe

29.07.2023
Highlights

On the 26th, 27th and 28th of July, RenovaBR, in partnership with the Fundação Instituto de Pesquisas Econômicas (Fipe), welcomed leaders from the class of 2020.

The meeting, which was attended by 66 councilors from all regions of the country, was part of the School of Municipal Political Management course, offered since May to representatives elected in municipal elections. There were 18 hours of online training divided into 12 synchronous lectures with the participation of more than 104 councilors, with the aim of promoting a safe space for discussing Municipal Legislative practices and the continued training of representatives.

The face-to-face course covered topics that help with supervision and legislation itself, such as the formation of political groups, negotiation with various civil society and public sector agents and technical preparation for the 2024 elections – in which current councilors will be candidates again.

The teaching staff participated: Humberto Dantas, coordinator of the Public Management degree at Fipe; Patrícia Tavares, professor in the Organizational Behavior specialization area at Insper; and Antônio Napole, professor and member of the academic committee at the Public Leadership Center (CLP).

The partnership with the Fundação Instituto de Pesquisas Econômicas (Fipe) is an intelligent and practical way of increasing RenovaBR's capillarity in the intellectual contribution of mandates. The intention is always to bring leaders closer to theories of excellence, which converge in better results in their municipalities, bringing speed and improvement to the routine of all of them.
