In partnership with the UM BRASIL channel, RenovaBR will promote a live this Monday (28), to discuss the modernization of the Brazilian State. The meeting, mediated by journalist Thais Herédia, will be attended by two Brazilian economists: Marcos Lisboa, former president of Insper, and Felipe Salto, chief economist and partner at Warren Investimentos. 

Agendas under discussion in the National Congress will be addressed, such as Administrative Reform, in addition to the conduct of current fiscal policy and the global economic situation amid the government of Donald Trump in the United States.

THE live also marks the launch of the book “UM BRASIL #11 – Modernization of the State”, produced by UM BRASIL and which brings together the main interviews conducted by the Channel during 2024, including analyses and proposals from the productive sector and organized civil society for Brazil to advance in different fields — from the environment to structural reforms. 

Among the personalities who were interviewed and appear in the book are Luiz Carlos Bresser-Pereira, former Minister of Finance (1987) and of Federal Administration and State Reform (1995–1998); fellow economist Otaviano Canuto, member of the Policy Center for the New South and former executive director of the World Bank; historian Jorge Caldeira, author, among others, of the book História da riqueza no Brasil (Brazil Station, 2017); Dora Kaufman, Artificial Intelligence (AI) researcher at the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo (PUC-SP); and journalist Bruno Paes Manso.
