RenovaBR, the largest political training school in Brazil, held the graduation ceremony for the 2025 Leaders Training class on December 13th and 14th at AMCHAM (American Chamber of Commerce for Brazil). The event marked the completion of the program for over 130 leaders, prepared to act in public life with democratic commitment, technical capacity, and a vision of social impact.
The event brought together newly formed leaders, RenovaBR community alumni, experts, guests, and partners in a program that combined reflection, practice, and celebration – at a time preceding a new electoral cycle in the country.
Political education and preparation for public life
Saturday (13) was dedicated to reviewing the training journey and consolidating the learning built throughout the year. The program began with the opening led by Rodrigo Cobra, executive director of RenovaBR, who highlighted the significance of the program's conclusion and the role of new leaders in strengthening Brazilian democracy.
Following this, political scientist Humberto Dantas led a dynamic activity with the students, inviting the graduates to reflect on the main moments of the course, the challenges faced throughout their training, and the lessons that marked their individual and collective journeys within the program.
The activities were complemented by thematic sessions led by experts. Researcher and master's degree holder in political communication, Maya Meneguelli, presented a panel on political communication and marketing. Simultaneously, Rodrigo Cobra led a session on political negotiation and alliance building.
During the afternoon, the graduates participated in simultaneous sessions with leading figures in the field of communication and political marketing, such as Nani Blanco, Vanessa Marques, and Marcello Natale. The debates covered topics ranging from the impact of Generation Z on elections to strategies for social mobilization and political planning.
Data, Brazil in the Mirror and communication
Also on Saturday, Guilherme Russo, director of intelligence at Quaest Research and Consulting, presented the panel “Brazil in the Mirror,” with unpublished data on the values, perceptions, and behaviors of the Brazilian population. The content is part of a book also edited by Felipe Nunes, a political scientist and researcher.
Closing the day, Juarez Guedes, internationally recognized as one of the 100 most influential professionals in political communication and marketing in 2023 and 2024, led a panel on political communication, connecting strategy, narrative, and democratic responsibility.
On Sunday, before the closing panel, RenovaBR held the "Renew Brazil Day" awards ceremony, in partnership with Transforma Brasil. The initiative recognized leaders with winning projects from all regions of the country, as well as members of the alumni community who also proposed to develop social impact projects throughout this year.
The closing panel featured the participation of federal deputy for São Paulo, Renata Abreu, in a conversation about the challenges of leading in contemporary Brazil and the role of new leaders in the scenario unfolding for 2026. The conversation was moderated by Monica Rosenberg, a lawyer and expert on corruption, who invited the new leaders to reflect on what kind of political leadership the country needs in the coming years.
