Between June 24th and 26th, RenovaBR participated in the Compol Brazil 2025, known as the main political and institutional communication congress in the country. Held in Florianópolis, within the Summit Cidades, the event was attended by Executive Director Rodrigo Cobra and Strategic Relationship Manager Davi Abreu.
RenovaBR stood out by presenting its mission, debating the paths of political renewal and reinforcing communication as a fundamental pillar in the formation of new leaders committed to the public interest.
RenovaBR: communication from the candidates' perspective
On the second day of the event, Davi Abreu, Strategic Relationship Manager at RenovaBR, participated as a mediator in the panel “RenovaBR: Communication from the candidates’ perspective”.
Together with councilors João Vianna and Jefferson Cerazolli and Tainara França, alternate councilor and parliamentary advisor for Amazonas, the meeting addressed how candidates use communication as a tool during the electoral campaign and during their term in office, to connect with their own electorate.
Paths of renewal
On the third day of the event, in the panel “Paths to Renewal”, the executive director of RenovaBR brings a clear message to the program: renewing politics is possible, necessary and urgent.
During the meeting with Iza Vicente, municipal secretary of Higher Education in Rio de Janeiro, with councilwoman Luma Menezes and with parliamentary secretary Frederico Monteiro, he emphasizes the importance of technical and ethical training as possible responses to the crisis of representation and disillusionment with traditional politics.

In addition to the institutional exhibition, the event marks the connection between RenovaBR and people who are involved in the real challenges of the population, in addition to bringing the organization closer to future participants and teachers who can participate in the training cycles. The participation reaffirms RenovaBR's commitment to building a policy that is closer to the people, at a time of growing distrust of traditional politics, in which events like this highlight the need for leaders to know how to communicate with purpose and responsibility.
Held annually, Compol (Congress of Institutional Political Communication) is the main meeting for debates on trends, strategies and innovations in public and political communication in Brazil. The event brings together experts, public managers, journalists, academics and leaders from all over the country to discuss topics such as communication in mandates, crises, digital engagement, political marketing and communication in campaigns.
